Precast concrete pier (pillar) caps are designed to be placed on top of pillars, columns, or mailboxes. They protect brick or stone work from weather and corrosion and add beauty to the work. They usually need to be slightly larger than the dimensions of the pillar itself so that they overhang. It is recommended that the customer seal the cap with a concrete sealer to prevent damage from weather changes.

Tier caps are also placed on top of pillars, columns, or mailboxes. Tier caps are more decorative and are used in the same way.

Several standard colors are available for both our pier and tier caps. We have diagrams available for small pier cap dimensions, large pier cap dimensions, and tier cap dimensions.
Our pier and tier caps can be made flat for use with balls or with 3 ½" to 4 ½" holes for use with balls or light fixtures.
