Precast concrete pier (pillar) caps are designed to be placed on top of pillars, columns, or mailboxes. They protect brick or stone work from weather and corrosion and add beauty to the work. They usually need to be slightly larger than the dimensions of the pillar itself so that they overhang. It is recommended that the customer seal the cap with a concrete sealer to prevent damage from weather changes. Several standard colors are available.
Pier caps can be made flat for use with balls or with 3 ½" to 4 ½" holes for use with balls or light fixtures. If you would like a cap that is more patterned and more decorative than the pier caps shown, look at our tier caps. Standard sizes of pier caps are:
